Maya Says: I really liked this book. It’s definitely meant for girls and it was really good. It was a little boring at some parts but all in all it was really funny! It is a book about a girl named Margaret who moved to New Jersey from New York. All her friend’s have a religion but Margaret does not because her dad is Jewish and her mom is Christian and the parents did not approve of the marriage. Margaret is trying to find a religion so her grandma on her dad’s side takes her to a Jewish church. She does a project at school on religion and she can’t find a right one for her. When her grandparent’s on her moms’ side come in town, her grandma on her dad’s side is not so happy… I can connect with this book because Margaret and I are the same age and both of our parents had very different cultures.
I recommend this book for grades:5th-7th
